In the music video it starts off with an establishing shot of the place where the music video is getting filmed. This helps to reinforce the type of genre the music is because its more of a calm and relaxed setting which is usually used by R&B artists.
The next part of the music video that shows a relationshipt between the lyrics and the visuals is when there are shots where it continues to show the main artist within the scene
After that the woman is introduced into the music video which helps to establish the genre. Which proves that there's a link between the lyrics and the video, especially based on the title of ther song.
This is emphasised when the artist continues to sing to the girl and with the girl nearby or in the backround.
In this music video, the relationshionship between the music and the visuals, and within this song, the lyrics talk about how he wants to be with the girl that he's seen and the visuals show the girl in a way that perceives her to bethe desirable woman that he's talking about and wants to be with. This is showed in the music video as to be showing the woman and the beautiful scenery, of which amplify the music.
Also due to the record label demanding a close ups of the artist, Robin Thicke has a number of close ups that show his face only in the shots.
There is frequently reference to notion of looking (screens with screens, telescopes, etc.) and particularly voyeuristic treatment of the female body. In this music video, the female bosy is emphasised numerous times throughout the video and shows helps to show the relativity of the lyrics to the genre and the women in the music video.
There is often intertextual reference (to films, T.V programmes, popular culture and other videos)
It can be suggested that a number of other nusic videos from this genre have used similar sceneries and also have had women like the ones in the music videos to do the same kind of things as in this one.
